Common fixes

The scale does not match a physical ruler

Open calibration from the ruler controls and adjust the scale against a trusted physical ruler. Device profiles provide a starting point, but calibration is recommended for accuracy-sensitive work.

I need to start away from the phone edge

Press and hold the orange zero briefly. When you feel the haptic, drag it to the point where you want the measurement to begin.

I want the distance between two points

Show the measurement markers, then touch the ruler at point A and drag to point B. Infinite Ruler displays the distance between them using your selected unit and precision.

The object is longer than the screen

Use the next and previous controls to continue the ruler scale page by page without losing your accumulated position.
